clouds to the south bay lots of overcast for the coastline moving to parts of sonoma county. here is a closer inspection not much in the way of radar coverage but still a few sprinkles out there or drizzle on the increase first thing tomorrow morning this is all a very minor deal. a look at some of the wind speed, increasing around 10 to 15 miles an hour a bit of a breeze wins coming out of the west you can see out toward sfo and oakland. forecast for tonight call it part of a cloudy, breezy clouds will continue to thicken out especially admittedly be more cloud cover there is a chance of a shower, all not a big deal. extended, we have a clearer of the clouds completely and warm up those numbers. on the satellite again here is what is developing. area of low pressure but we call zonal low with moisture moving west to east and all this activity will be focused north of the bay area showers, fairly good up to the north but close enough to generate cloud cover partly to mostly cloudy and the chance of a light shower orgies pringles. here is the up

. that will likely mean a rate increase. >>> this morning's wet weather caused problems in sonoma county. a tree along highway 116 in forestville toppled over, hitting power lines and blocking a roadway. crews blocked off the roadway and cars had to make a u-turn to get to a detour. the wet roads this morning also helped cause several accidents on bay area freeways. the highway patrol says this accident near interstate 280 in san jose was likely due to the driver going too fast for the conditions. fortunately, no one was hurt. our meteorologist mark tamayo is here now with more on the rain and what we can expect this evening. >> the rainfall moved in right on time. earlier this morning, it woke me up. we still have cloud cover, a few light showers to deal with. you can see the south bay, san jose, .15 inches. but santa rosa, .92. san rafael, .63. fairfield, nearly half an inch. you can see up towards parts of sonoma county, 1.31. right now, on live stormtracker 2 radar, lots of cloud cover out there. even if you're not covered in the green, you could have a few spotty showers, a few light sprink

, if you work in the city, it is going to be really hard to commute from sonoma, you want to do what is necessary so that your house is retrofitted and a couple of years of earthquake premium could get you to a level that you could be in the house after a significant earthquake and it may have damage and there is still a shelter in place where you are at home and you are not worried for the government taking care of you and you are living in a place where you can go to work and you want to have your wood frame house is really easy to get to that level. on top of the wood frame house, i mean every wood frame house in the west half of the city have a water tank and the water tank fall over because they are gas fired and start fires. and that is something that you could do for yourself, and for your neighbors and for the whole city is make sure that your water tank is braced. >> if you look at the studies that are predicting on fires, we are going to have a lot of fires and for every water tank that is braced there is a potential of one less fire that the fire department is going to hav

wife gave me an ice cream freezer for my birthday last year. she got it from williams-sonoma. it's not one of those freezers you have to crank, the kind i did when i was a kid and you eat the ice cream and it makes your head hurt because you eat it too fast. this is a modern ice cream freezer. you mix the stuff up, put it in and after awhile here comes the ice cream. then i discovered that williams-sonoma also sells a mix that you can order, and that makes it even easier. so i ordered the mix. williams-sonoma has stores in tennessee, but i order mine online. and so i looked up the catalog number. i don't do this very much, so i'm not the best online purchaser who is around. looked up the catalog number, punched a few buttons on my computer, and i ordered my ice cream ingredients. it asked for my name and address and the information on my credit card. and with that information, two things happened. i ordered the ingredients, and they arrived within a few days. but williams-sonoma through the internet determined from my zip code what the sales tax is in tennessee and in my home cou
